Step out of the stagnancy of winter and cultivate heat and detoxify the body. Winter is particularly a hard time to detox, since our bodies are more concerned with keeping us warm in this harsh climate. Without proper release of toxins, good nourishment and well being, we are more prone to illness and disease. Join me to breath, move, sweat and stretch. Work through and release toxins from the entire system. We will start slow and continue to build heat in the body. As we warm up and increase our flexibility, we will have the option to move deeper in our practice, releasing stored toxins, we will then wind down and end with a deep relaxation. Leave felling light, refreshed and renewed.

Enjoy yoga in a new way, with a partner, friend or family member. Find balance as you practice together, breathing, moving and having fun. Learn to trust and communicate with each other as you explore the benefits of partner yoga. You will learn to adjust and assist each other as you build strength and flexibility. Practice giving and receiving a little thai massage and end in deep relaxation.

Hips are the one of the largest joints in the body, they are also a weight bearing joint. Hips are closely tied into issues with the low back, knees and even the ankles. If that weren't enough, our hips also store tension and stress from our lives. As you know, the hips can have a mind of their own and resist as we are trying to loosen them. This workshop is designed to lovingly coax our hips to begin releasing tension. As we open our hips we will notice an increased range of motion and a feeling of openness. You will walk or even dance out with a new understanding and appreciation of your hips.
